Childish Gambino On ‘Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake’ (Preview)

Childish Gambino is no stranger to lending his vocal talents to the Cartoon Network, last November Tyler, the Creator, MC Lyte and himself all lent their rapping skills to an episode of The Regular Show, and now it looks like Gambino will be returning to animated form during an upcoming episode of Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake. Co-starring alongside comedian Neil Patrick Harris, Gambino will play the role of Marshall Lee, the musical male counterpart to fan favorite Marceline the Vampire Queen in the upcoming episode titled, “Bad Little Boy.” Up top you can view a sneak peek clip of the episode showing Gambino’s character performing a musical number and then continuing to speak in rhyme. The episode is set to premiere on Monday, February 18 at 7:30 p.m., so be sure to save the date.

Childish Gambino – L.E.S.

During Childish Gambino Camp tour, the audience was treated to viewing the featured video as Gambino performed his track “L.E.S.,” and now the clip has surfaced for all to enjoy. The track’s title is an abbreviation for “Lower East Side,” and the video features various people and couples captured from several nights in the Manhattan district. The track is featured on Camp, which is available now via iTunes.

Leona Lewis featuring Childish Gambino – Trouble

Earlier this week Childish Gambino Tweeted out that he and British songstress Leona Lewis had a single coming out, and today their collaborative track “Trouble” has surfaced. Premiered on the Scott Mills show on BBC Radio 1, the song is second single off her upcoming album Glassheart. The single will be available to download on October 7 through iTunes, but you can get your first listen to it down below.

Childish Gambino featuring Jay Rock – Sour Faces

While ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul in fact did make appearances on Childish Gambino’s latest mixtape Royalty, it looks like there was also plans to get fellow TDE member Jay Rock a feature on the project as well. Titled “Sour Faces,” the new track surfaces today as Gambino’s tour DJ, DJ So Super Sam, releases her new mixtape titled Trigger Happy, which included the previously unheard tune. Now that Gambino has collaborations with three out of the four members of TDE, let the speculations begin in regards to his collaboration alongside fourth member Kendrick Lamar. Childish Gambino featuring Prodigy – Body

By now you’ve given Gambino’s latest mixtape Royalty more than a few spins through, and now you check out a tune that didn’t make its way onto the final tracklist. While Childish Gambino made a visit with DJ Semtex, he premiered this new cut titled “Body,” featuring Prodigy. The track seems like it would have fit in perfectly with the feature-heavy mixtape, but we’re glad it didn’t just get shelved somewhere to get lost. Check it out down below.

Childish Gambino – Royalty (Mixtape)

The new Childish Gambino mixtape Royalty is finally presented to us on America’s Independence Day. We had previously heard cuts from this compilation in recent weeks including “Unnecessary,” “Shoulda Known,” “Black Faces,” “Silk Pillow,” and an unheard verse Mr. Glover laid down on Sway’s radio show. The rapper from Silver Lake, California has called in lyrical heavy hitters such as Ghostface Killah, RZA, Bun B, Danny Brown, Alley Boy, the vocal talents of the up-and-coming Kilo Kish, and even Tina Fey, Gambino’s former co-star on 30 Rock makes an appearance. There’s currently no online stream for Royalty, but you can download the mixtape here.

Childish Gambino – One Up

Childish Gambino made a visit Sway In The Morning and announced the official title of his upcoming mixtape, Royalty. In addition to the name of his project, Gambino confirmed the project’s release date of July 4, and shared a new single titled “One Up.” He’s performed the track at a few venues, but now fans can listen to the radio ripping of the tune down below.
