Capital Steez Dead At 19, Joey Bada$$ Confirms

Right around midnight, Capital STEEZ tweeted “The End.” Shortly thereafter, the 19-year-old rapper reportedly took his own life in the early hours of Dec. 24. These reports have been confirmed by fellow Pro Era member Joey Bada$$ on Twitter, as well as other sources close to the late musician. The devastating news comes after the recent release of Pro Era’s Peep: The Apocalypse mixtape.

A truly sad story and yet another tragic loss for the hip-hop community. Our thoughts and prayers are with STEEZ’s family and friends, especially during this holiday season.
